Bio

Robert M Secreti Jr was born in Syracuse, New York graduating from Henninger HS. I served two tours with the

U.S. Air Force. repairing, launching, recovering bombers, tankers, and fighter aircraft. After leaving the service, my wife and I opened a tourist business in Lake Placid N.Y. selling weavings and locally obtained artisan products to the travelers. The seasons were too short so we decided to move on chasing more rainbows.

Finally we settled down in a little house, on a little road, with 2 little kids, a few furry little dogs and an occasional kitty. At that nice quiet spot in Saratoga County, I was finally able to relax and dream with stories running through my head.

With my military training and taking classes I have been employed by major corporations to maintain and install high tech machinery. This association with top engineers, techs, sergeants and scientists inspired me to develop these experiences into story lines of fictional fun.

We Danced Before Time, came from an idea I came up with during the hours waiting for aircraft to return to base. This is a time travel book centered around enterprising kids trying to stop the time traveling bandit Doctor Lothario from committing a caper to fund his diabolical plans. The doctor plans using the Family Fun Park's cash money in Florida.

In between projects I wrote the book, Secrets of the Craft Show Business. After 30 plus years selling goods at craft shows I saw a lot of venders that could possible use a few pointers.

Later traveling to NYC taking classes from writers, producers I finally met an editor. While meeting these industrial professionals I reread my published books realizing they needed cleaning up.       The decision to rerelease these books properly edited is on my mind. Sometimes I wondered, should I revises them... or be proud I did something with very little guidance? Understand, these original projects were before Amazon took off.

After getting a professional editor with his guidance I turned We Danced Before Time into the script,

The Placid Bay Detectives.

Next came; Meet Danny Slaughter; suspense script about a high school entity posing as a young lad that enslaves people who dream to want something.

"Move over Chucky, wake up Freddy, it's time to Meet Danny Slaughter."

Then Demons; a horror script about an ancient energy whom was mistakenly released during the Revolution War and reawaken while some college students are filming a short movie near Lake Ontario, in Oswego County on the haunted Grey Road farm.

As time went by I wrote the pilot, The King in Miami, a family sitcom about a disgruntled factory worker "Vince" that dreams about running away and becoming a dance instructor on a cruse ship out of Miami. The only problem he can only dance the Merengue. Think; The  Love Boat meets Star Trek.

After never really selling anything I have written. One morning I awoke having an epiphany deciding me to break out the antagonist from The Placid Bay Detectives; Doctor Lothario and write; "The Alchemist’s Son", a live Vaudeville 55 minute portal into the life of the time traveling Steam Punk bandit "Doctor Lothario".

See my Trailor below...

After leaving my last employer I wrote the script for

The Nanobots of Love” a frolicking story about nanobots that were mistakenly made with recycled human stem cells that soon learn that they are alive and befriend twins, and a stray dog named Hoodie while visiting their aunt in Albuquerque, NM for winter break.

My proudest work so far; "Black Silver", a Broadway Musical about the historic Black Marshal, Bass Reeves who through street smarts dances and sings his way into your heart.
